The Children's Sermon:
during which time our Pastor Presents them with an intimate Sermon

This is designed to help them better understand the Word of God and the
purpose of our church. Sermons may be light, entertaining, or animated, yet
all help convey a powerful message.

The
Hymn of Preparation:

The Congregation stands and sings their
second hymn of the Worship Service.

The Gospel Reading:                As read by a Liturgist or our Pastor.

The Anthem:             A piece sung by the Choir.

The Sermon:             Our Pastor's weekly message.

The Offering:             The Congregation shares its gifts.

The Hymn of Affirmation:
The Congregation stands and sings their third
hymn of the service.  During this time, the Pastor
usually leaves the altar and goes to the back of
the Sanctuary to perform the Benediction.

The Benediction:

Words of blessing to send us out into the world
to do the Lord's work

The Postlude:  A final piece, played by the organist, which ends the
                                       Worship Service.

Please note: Ours is a flexible church with a dynamic and ever-changing
Worship Service. From Sunday to Sunday, worship can be changed to
accommodate Baptisms, Confirmations, Communion, and the welcoming
of new members -- to name a few things. Services are often tailored to
include special musical guests and performances. In short, now two
services are the same. The only common thread in each services is that
they are all interesting, meaningful, and moving.

Sunday Service most often ends around 10:45 after which time people
usually greet one another and chat.  Folks then are welcome to attend
Fellowship Time, an hour or so (beginning at 11:00 am) where they can
have coffee, tea, and snacks...or they may attend Sunday School (or
    perhaps do both.)
