
The Children's Sermon: |


during which time our Pastor Presents them with an intimate Sermon
purpose of our church. Sermons may be light, entertaining, or animated, yet all help convey a powerful message. |
The Hymn of Preparation: |
The Congregation stands and sings their second hymn of the Worship Service. |
The Gospel Reading: As read by a Liturgist or our Pastor. |
The Anthem: A piece sung by the Choir. |

The Sermon: Our Pastor's weekly message. |
The Offering: The Congregation shares its gifts. |
The Hymn of Affirmation: |
| The Congregation stands and sings their third hymn of the service. During this time, the Pastor usually leaves the altar and goes to the back of the Sanctuary to perform the Benediction. |
The Benediction: |
Words of blessing to send us out into the world to do the Lord's work |
The Postlude: A final piece, played by the organist, which ends the Worship Service. |

Worship Service. From Sunday to Sunday, worship can be changed to accommodate Baptisms, Confirmations, Communion, and the welcoming of new members -- to name a few things. Services are often tailored to include special musical guests and performances. In short, now two services are the same. The only common thread in each services is that they are all interesting, meaningful, and moving. |

usually greet one another and chat. Folks then are welcome to attend Fellowship Time, an hour or so (beginning at 11:00 am) where they can have coffee, tea, and snacks...or they may attend Sunday School (or perhaps do both.) |
