XXXDON'T JUST RECYCLE - UPCYCLE!

Noah's Nursery has started an "UPCYCLE" program in the classroom!
Upcycling is turning waste packaging materials into fun, new products.  This
helps stop these products from going into our landfills and polluting the
environment.  The items we are collecting are some of the waste that is not
    biodegradable in our landfills.

We have joined a program sponsored by TerraCycle that will help us earn
money for our class by upcycling.  The items we are collecting are: Frito-Lay
snack bags, yogurt containers (6 oz & 32 oz sizes), juice pouches (any brand)
and Elmer's glue sticks and bottles.  More items to come. Please leave by our
    classroom door.
XXX PRISM
Are you looking for a healthy living program? Lisa Tompkins is looking to start
    PRISM - a 24-week Christian-based program done in 4-6week stages which will
help transform attitudes about food. Enrollment is optional for each 6-week
phase. Go to www.pwlp.com to learn more about this, or call Lisa @ 592-4072
for information on costs or with other questions.

XXXTHANK YOU!
Vacation Bible School was held from August 16-20 and was a huge
success! We set a new record high for attendance with 120 children on
Tuesday of that week.  With all the youth helpers and various children
attending in the course of the week, we probably had around 150 young
participants!  We would like to thank everyone who helped make this a
big, fun event in the life of our church!
