Chimes Note
The majority of newsletters are now going out electronically.  If you have received a paper
version it is because we do not have an e-mail address for you.

If you would like to be on our e-mail list, please leave a note in the office or mail us your
address.  If you have e-mail you can send your address to umcfirst@centralny.twcbc.com
E-mail recipients get lots of updated information, a daily devotion, a chance to send prayer
requests out much quicker and the clip-art is in color!!

Thanks,
    Nancy

Book Club News
The Book Club has decided to meet once a month
in the future, beginning in March.

Our revised schedule is as follows:
We invite you to join our Book Club for one meeting or
for as many as you would like to attend! We are one of
the many small groups in our church, and we average
9-12 men and women per meeting. Members of the
book club decide the books we will read by consensus,
and we have meaningful, thought-provoking
discussions!
Sunday, May 20, 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. -- Meeting; Book: The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls
*  Many thanks to Ivan & Linda Coant , Charles & Sandy Coant, Mike & Kimmi Coant and the
Education Memorial Team who sponsored and worked at a Chicken BBQ on March 31st.
$403.51 was raised for the Education Fund. A separate $1000.00 anonymous gift was also
given to the Education Fund.
