Waiting on a miracle to fulfill my heart's desires
Waiting on a miracle to light my inner fires

Waiting on a miracle for a gift from up above
Waiting on a miracle to bring settlement, enhance love

Waiting on a miracle; God promised to give me one
Waiting on a miracle; it can't be over, can't be done

Waiting on a miracle because it's worth waiting for
Waiting on a miracle like I never waited before

Believing in a miracle like he always knew I would
Believing in a miracle because I do, not 'cause I should

Believing in a miracle for my family and for me
Believing in a miracle for things to stay the way they should be

Believing in a miracle ever since that dreary day
Believing in a miracle now that you have gone away

Believing in a miracle against all odds
Believing in a miracle through weaker days and sobs

Praying for a miracle; we'll suffer much without it
Praying for a miracle; don't care if others doubt it

Praying for a miracle I know that I believe
Praying for a miracle; the loss I can't conceive

Praying for a miracle, praying for a chance
Praying for a miracle as I move to my last stanza

Depending on a miracle to cherish life for a while
Depending on a miracle so I can finally smile

Depending on a miracle to save that sacred place
Depending on a miracle that it won't become empty space

Depending on a miracle; Justice not for jail
Depending on a miracle to keep it from going on sale

Depending on a miracle after all you've put us through
Depending on a miracle especially for you
