Many members of our congregation play an active and important role in
our community. Here is some information about them.

    UMC First hosts frequent  Blood Drives to help the American
    Red Cross maintain its blood supply.
    Each and every year, members of the Fulton First United
    Methodist Church join together with others in the
    community to hold a walk against world hunger.

Eradicating Pediatric Aids
    Maggie Abbate, a church member studying at Boston
    University, is currently the chairperson of the B. U. Dance
    battle to fight pediatric aids. Proceeds from the marathon are
    given to the following organizations (click to visit):

The Fulton Art Association
    This dedicated group of amateur artists  work to advance art
    appreciation in the greater Oswego County area. Periodic art
    exhibitions are held,  as well  as a yearly, judged art competition.  
    Scholarships are given annually to many promising, local students.
The Heifer Project

The American Heart Association
The National Kidney Foundation
    The NKF is the major voluntary health organization dedicated to
    preventing kidney disease, improving the health and well-being of
    individuals and families affected by kidney disease and increasing
    the availability of all organs for transplantation.
    A website who's goal is to raise awareness
    about kidney disease, and help our friend in
    his search for a life-saving kidney for
    transplantation.

    The Craig V. Abbott II Autobiography website is a site that is dedicated to
    the inspiring story of Craig "CV" Abbott, miraculous survivor of the
    terminal illness Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1. Visitors can post
    comments and stay up-to-date regarding his appearances and work.
