Our 2011 Golf Tournament had an
unexpected (and uninvited guest)
- Hurricane Irene.
Despite the cold temperatures,
pouring rain, and
soaked-to-the-bone particpants,
many golfers were able to play,
albeit their shots may have been
altered a little in flight due to gale
winds.
Participants still enjoyed themselves, especially the nice, warm meal at the
end of the day. Prizes were also awarded, thanks to the many generous
people whose names appear below.
When all was said and done, the overall winner was declared - Hurricane
Irene. We are confident that next year's tournament will be hurricane-free.
