The Attic Teen Center kicked off in October 2011.  Our model of intentional ministry and
the events that are scheduled encompasses three purposeful principles; Belong, Believe
and Become. It is our goal to create an inviting community, while at the same time
communicate what we believe and attempt to live it out in our group and everyday lives.
As this teen ministry begins to grow, it is our hope and prayer we become all that God
calls us to be in the life of our church and community. Meetings are led by the Youth
Director- Lynne Kimpland and Pastor Mark. For more information please contact Lynne at

Along with special events the youth will participate in team building activities, missions,
and thought provoking exercises taken from two books; “The 7 Habits of Highly
Effective Teens” and “The 6 Most Important Decisions You’ll Ever Make” written by Sean
Covey.
Attic Teens,

This Sunday I would like to have a brief event planning meeting following JAM Kids Choir
Rehearsal from 11:15-11:40 in the Attic Teen Room. Grab a snack and bring it to the
meeting.   I would like your input, ideas and help planning for these upcoming spring
events.

Roller skating/blading at the Bilou Rink in Fulton. This event will be covered by the Attic
Teen fund for those teens who participated in the recent fundraiser. Family and friends are
invited to attend the cost is $6 which includes roller skate or roller blade rental.
We will decide which of these dates and times work best for you at our meeting on Sunday.
Sat. March 3rd - 7-8:30pm   or Sun. March 4th 2-4:30pm.

Sunday March 11th-The Pancake Breakfast 11-1:30pm The men's group have asked if the
Attic Teens would be interested in helping with the Pancake Breakfast. We will earn a
portion of the proceeds and I thought it might be a good idea to donate it to help pay for the
sanctuary soundboard. We can discuss this at the meeting. Also all teens that work at the
breakfast will be treated to a free breakfast. Please let me know if you will be available and
don't forget to wear your Attic Teen T-shirts.

Sat. April 7th - 10-12pm Children's Easter Party - Attic Teens are encouraged to help set up
and run this event.

End of April Date TBA- World Vision 30-Hour Famine - need to know if this is something you
are interested in doing again this year. Would like to include another youth group.

See you Sunday,
                Lynne
