During the week of August 17 - 21, 2009, The
First United Methodist Church of Fulton
celebrated its annual Vacation Bible School.
VBS is our chance to reach out to the
community and do one of the things that we
like to do most - serve the children
This year's VBS theme was swamp fun, and it
was entitled "Crocodile Dock." It featured al
sorts of friendly swamp characters who help
us have fun and learn about God. Some of the
things we learned were that God is powerful
and He does what He says He will do.
If you would like to see the VBS highlights in a brief 12-minute movie, just click

Not only did the children learn about God, there
were activities aplenty! Everyone took their turn
at arts and crafts, videos, spotlight drama, games,
and of course, snacks.
One of the highlights of the games activity was the
water slides and bounce inflatables which were
generously supplied by the Tobin family (see right
for more information or visit their website.)
